In Other News: 14 Year Old Girl Shot & Killed Over a Boy

Chicago has done it again..

According to hiphopwired.com a 14-year-old girl was shot and killed by a fellow classmate of the same gender allegedly over a fight that had begun on Facebook over a boy. Endia Martin was pronounced dead at Comer's Children Hospital, while another girl, 16, was hit in the arm and expected to make a full recovery.
The sad & ironic thing about it is that her parents had intentionally moved to her to the school she attended because the previous one "too far and dangerous."

ABC reports:
Charges are pending against two males, ages 17 and 24, who were with the suspect.
Martin a freshman at Tilden Career Academy, was hanging out with friends in the 900 block of West Garfield when a fight broke out between Martin and the suspect. Another girl, 16 was shot in the arm. Police said the offender ran away but was taken into custody 20 minutes later. The fight between the two had apparently started on face.

The 14-year-old suspect appeared in juvenile court Tuesday. Prosecutors said Martin was with a group of people when the suspect approached them and attempted to shoot them, but the fun malfunctioned. They said she handed the gun to others who fixed the malfunction, then handed the gun back to who her and that's when she opened fire.
